Danvers, MA (February 27, 2015) – North American lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA announced the company has been named a 2015 Facility Executive Readers’ Choice Award winner in the lighting controls category for its ENCELIUM® Energy Management System, powered by its flagship lighting management software – Polaris 3D®. The Readers’ Choice Awards are voted on each year by Facility Executive’s readers and are chosen based on criteria including product or service reliability, aesthetics, value and customer service.

“For over two decades, this program has recognized and celebrated the best products, services, and solutions available to the facility management community,” said Susan Coene, co-president of Group C Media Inc., parent company of Facility Executive.  “To earn the recognition and respect of facility executives who spend much of their working lives purchasing products and services for their facilities is an impressive achievement, and we congratulate all our winners.”

“We are honored to receive a 2015 Readers’ Choice Award from Facility Executive in the lighting controls category,” said Charles Piccirillo, ENCELIUM group marketing manager, OSRAM SYLVANIA.  “ENCELIUM is a robust light controls solution that can respond to any modern building’s lighting and energy needs. This award truly speaks to our continued commitment to lighting technology and performance, and the fact that it comes from facility executives, an important demographic for us, makes it even more rewarding.”

ENCELIUM Energy Management System
ENCELIUM by OSRAM is a scalable, simple lighting control system that enables facility managers to elevate the cost effectiveness and occupant experience of their lighting spaces with just a click of the mouse.  Developed in North America and accessible anytime, anywhere via an Internet connection, the ENCELIUM Energy Management System is one of the only lighting control systems that can gather data from a range of lighting component suppliers through wired and wireless communication to custom tailor lighting usage with changing requirements – making any building fit for the future.  The system can be enhanced and scaled to be suitable for any application or building size, enabling facility managers to offer a comfortable work environment for employees, reduce their lighting energy consumption by as much as 75 percent, and qualify for several points toward LEED certification.

The Facility Executive 2015 Readers’ Choice Award winners will be featured in the magazine’s January/February issue. For more information on the awards, visit: http://facilityexecutive.com/2015/01/facility-management-awards/
