OSRAM SYLVANIA Expands ELOGIC™ Lighting Controls Portfolio with Occupancy Sensors and Slide Dimmers Series
Commercial-Grade Occupancy Sensors and Dimmers Offer Added Energy Savings, Preference Control and Lighting System Optimization

Philadelphia and Danvers, Mass. (May 17, 2011) – Dedicated to providing sustainable and energy efficient lighting solutions, North American lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA is expanding its line of ELOGIC™ Lighting Controls within the SYLVANIA Light Management Systems portfolio. The ELOGIC family of controls provides added energy savings, preference control and optimization for lighting systems across a variety of applications. Additions to the SYLVANIA portfolio include the commercial-grade ELOGIC Sensors Series and ELOGIC Slide Dimmers Series, offering flexibility and improved efficiency for a wide range of lighting systems.

The SYLVANIA ELOGIC Occupancy Sensors Series delivers a full line of sensors for practically every application. Offering easy installation and functionality, SYLVANIA occupancy sensors can be used for energy management, daylight harvesting, retrofitting existing fixtures and low voltage models. Currently comprised of six unique sensors, the ELOGIC Simple Sensors Series includes configurations for internal fixture mounting, external mounting for high bay applications, and one with the additional feature of daylight hold-off. A Wall-Box Sensor that requires little to no commissioning and self-adjusts and self-calibrates; a Dual Relay Wall Box sensor that controls two separate loads and multiple fixtures or switched dimming. Both Wall-Box and Ceiling sensors come in Infrared and Multi-Technology version that detects small motions and occupants behind obstructions. A wide range of available options make the SYLVANIA Sensors Series an ideal solution for multiple applications, including commercial, classroom and office installations.

The SYLVANIA ELOGIC Dimmer Series delivers a full line of dimmer switches compatible with line voltage LED sources, phase cut fluorescent systems, zero-to-ten volt devices and electronic and magnetic transformers. ELOGIC Dimmers feature fluid slide motion, allowing for fine adjustments, and LED locator lights are available in most models to illuminate the switch when lights are off. Ideal for almost every application, SYLVANIA Dimmers allow greater preference control and energy savings in commercial, residential and office environments. Installation is simple and easy and in some models, no neutral wire is required.

SYLVANIA Light Management Systems and ELOGIC Lighting Controls help to manage light levels and provide energy and cost savings for lighting systems using LED, HID, fluorescent or any other lighting technology. Further, SYLVANIA Light Management Systems provide preference control and flexibility to optimize lighting systems to their fullest potential.
